Inspired by the world of online dating, I set out to write a story about how these apps create a falsehood in matching people who are looking for the same type of relationship.
The film starts with two characters at the start of a relationship. They enjoy spending time together but probably fear putting their cards on the table and being honest about what they each want from a relationship.
Ultimately we get a glimpse of what it's like to when one person gets wrapped up in the cyclical nature of online dating and is just trying to break out of it.
"Then why don't you delete the app... right now?"
...
Our film opens with an accelerated view of Jason's experience on dating apps. This scene was crucial in bringing the audience up to speed with the chaos that is the dating app world. The photos and designs had to feel as real as possible.
